Russ is a 1987 graduate of the University of Alabama Huntsville in Mechanical Engineering, he served nine years as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps. Russ has lived in northern Maury County for the past eight years with his wife and five children.

Jenny graduated from the University of Alabama Huntsville in
1987 with a business Degree specializing in Marketing. She has been home schooling her five children for the last eleven years and is actively involved in several areas of the community.
